Our State Courts

With over 25 years as a Chief Deputy District Attorney for the First Judicial District of Colorado, Judge Pautler shared his extensive knowledge with a judicious balance of humor. As usual our members had great questions which augmented the educational material presented by the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Judicial Institute. For more information about the Our Courts educational programs offered, please visit http://www.ourcourtscolorado.org

The 2011 CO Courts at a Glance booklet provides an overview of Colorado's state courts and the justice system in order to help you better understand how the courts function and what rights you have in the courts. A more complete understanding of the justice system helps all citizens appreciate the important role an independent judiciary plays in protecting their constitutional rights.
